We’re thrilled to announce the release of Pachyderm 2.10!

With 2.10, Pachyderm has new features that provide robust and user-friendly experiences, furthering our efforts to improve performance, usability, and overall satisfaction for our users. As a member of the strong suite of HPE AI offerings, Pachyderm is also pleased to enable new cross product features with the release of 2.10.

MLDM Pachyderm Jupyter Extension in MLDE Determined Notebooks

For HPE enterprise customers using both MLDM and MLDE, we are excited to announce a huge step forward in a unified product experience! Customers of both products will now note that MLDE notebooks on combined clusters include the Jupyter Pachyderm extension by default! The experience will require a simple one-time log-in and allow our joint customers an enhanced, efficient experience across our two great products.

If you are a MLDM Jupyter Extension user who is not yet taking advantage of MLDE as well, you can still look forward to UI improvements and time to value accelerators in 2.10. Check out our latest demo below to learn more!

Add Metadata through our APIs

Speaking of unlocking powerful products and features, users will now be able to create, add, edit, and delete metadata on the following Pachyderm objects: cluster, project, repo, branch and commit! Pachyderm’s metadata features are a powerful tool you can use to enable and enhance the discoverability and usability of your data. These new metadata abilities are available through the command line today and Console UI support is coming soon.
