Pachyderm, the Data Foundation for Machine Learning, today announced the availability of Pachyderm in the Microsoft Azure Marketplace, an online store providing applications and services for use on Azure. Pachyderm customers can now take advantage of the productive and trusted Azure cloud platform, with streamlined deployment and management. Pachyderm, an open-source data science platform that runs on Kubernetes, helps teams tackle their biggest data management challenges. With Pachyderm’s data versioning, pipelines and lineage, teams can rapidly productionize and scale their machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) projects through data-driven automation, petabyte scalability, and end-to-end reproducibility.
“Pachyderm is excited to partner with Microsoft to give our customers a first-class purchasing experience on the Azure Marketplace,” said Joe Doliner, CEO, and co-founder of Pachyderm. “Our tight integration with Azure enables customers to seamlessly scale their ML workloads with Azure’s storage and compute services while maintaining data lineage.”
Built on top of Docker and Kubernetes, Pachyderm gives ML teams the flexibility to use any AI/ML library to easily scale data tasks on Azure via incremental and parallel processing. In conjunction, Pachyderm’s data versioning allows customers to use Azure storage to create immutable lineage for data debugging and compliance. Pachyderm’s solutions help customers get their ML and AI projects to market faster, lower data processing and storage costs, and support strict data governance requirements.
“Through the Microsoft Azure Marketplace, customers around the world can easily find, buy, and deploy partner solutions they can trust, all certified and optimized to run on Azure,” said Jake Zborowski, General Manager, Microsoft Azure Platform at Microsoft Corp. “We’re happy to welcome Pachyderm to the growing Azure Marketplace ecosystem.”
